Today let’s talk about everyday life in Florence. For me, it’s really simple and calm. I wake up ,you could say early, around 8-10 o’clock . I slowly go to the kitchen and eat some milk with cereal, and after that comes the time of an espresso, or some times a macchiato. I go to my room, and get dressed and when I take care of everything I go out. Normally, I spend some time in the supermarket, trying to figure out what I need and what I don’t, and then transfer le spesse home.
Now is the best part of the morning, going to town. If there is no protesting in the bus i use, and if the waiting time is not more than 20 minutes I wait for the bus to take me to piazza di San Marco where is the most convinient place for me to move around. But even if I don’t use the bus, walking until my destination is a really great thing to do. You walk in a not that crowded place of Florence,at least not from tourists like most of the places near the city center, until you find a small walking-path underground and pass down of the normal road. If it’s morning you pass through that path you will realize something, there is a small roon in the path that in the mornings there are either people playing musical instruments and singing, or a playlist of calming or folk songs as a backround.
Once you go up from the musical underground path you have to go straight for a while, see a lot of people walking to their jobs, students going to their universities, also to their schools. There are 2 or 3 venditori ambulanti in the street selling books in really small prices, like also a shop selling old used things in good prices that even if you don’t buy something is great to walk in, and just take a good look around. You can smell and feel Italy in every corner of it. Well, after a while later we get to our destination, piazza di Sac Marco - 7 minutes away from Duomo - 10 minutes away from Piazza della Signoria - 10 minutes away from S.M.Novela .
This was our little tour for today, more travels and wanderings around await us!
